Manchester Police to tweet for 24hrs
To highlight the number of calls they receive and to show how overworked they are, Greater Manchester Police are tweeting all incidents for a 24 hour period.
Spread over three accounts, the rate of tweets being too much for one account, gmp24_1, gmp24_2 and gmp24_3, at the time of writing, are up to 946, 577 and 695 tweets respectively.
A great idea. Will we now see it from other disgruntled work forces?
